Late Half Day Today
Weather was beautiful, but fishing was very slow
Caught 3 Mackerels and didn’t get a picture

and the fishing is still good!
Black Tip Shark caught on 20lb spinning tackle from an anchored boat.
Excellent Catch
Bonitos Today, but no Tunas

For the last 4 days the Black Fin Tuna have been biting great. Unfortunately the rafts of weed that were holding large amounts of baitfish that the Tuna were feeding on drifted up in side the reef and the Great Tuna Massacre is over……for now
But there are still fish out there to catch!

Excellent Day!
Lousy picture
Had 2 half days today and caught Black Fin Tuna on both!
Caught 4 in the morning
and 10 in the afternoon!
also caught a couple of Kingfish too!
But I forgot my camera and had to take this picture with my cell phone.
It doesn’t do so well looking into the late afternoon sun

It started a little slow,
but then the Black Fin Tuna started biting!
26 lb Black Fin Tuna on 20lb test line!

Nassau Grouper released!
(Pretty fish and good to eat, but they’re out of season )

Two Trips Today
Shark Fishing in the morning was very good!
We released about 8 or 9 on light tackle
and Brought back a big Kingfish
Trolling in the afternoon was very slow!

Looking for a Sailfish Today
Never saw one.
Had few Kingfish on, but lost most because we were
using monofilament leaders and Kingfish have sharp teeth.
This one was just unlucky

The weather was absolutely Beautiful,

Excellent Half Day Today
We decided to start inshore just looking for “bites” with Mackerels and Kingfish,
Then go to the reef and try for a Barracuda
and hopefully have time to go offshore for a little bit and catch a Tuna…………
It all worked perfectly!

Kept a big one for a Trophy and a couple of Tuna for Dinner
