2 Trips Today – Morning
13 lb Cero Mackerel. This is huge for one of these fish.
The world record is somewhere around 17 lbs,
(also caught in KW)
We caught some Cero Mackerel. Not to be confused with King Mackerels or Spanish Mackerel. These are a more Tropical cousin and are by far the best eating of the inshore Mackerels we get here. Their meat is firm and white and a local favoriteA successful day of fishing which will be followed by a delicious dinner tonight!
AFTERNOON
6 Hr. Trip this afternoon. We started out trying to catch some Yellow Tail Snapper, but conditions were not good, (wind against the current).so we changed game plans and trolled for Black Fin Tuna
