Still trying to hide from the weather,
Kept it calm but fishing was slower today

Weather won’t give us a break.
The last few days it’s been blowing hard out of the South so we fished in the Gulf. Today we got a cold front and now it’s blowing 25 out of the North so we hid behind a reef and fished with light tackle. Released a bunch and kept a few for dinner

Rough and windy on the Atlantic side,
so we opted for calmer waters in the Gulf
and had some great bottom fishing action
Lane snapper = delicious dinner!
Red Grouper has to go back as the season is closed!
Calm Seas,
steady action and
lots of tasty fish for dinner!
Bonitos are lots of fun on light spinning tackle!
