Mixed bag of Fish Today
Today the boat caught a few late season Dolphin to go with our normal winter fish. I say “the Boat” caught them because I took a few days off and went to my hunting camp. Dolphin are a great fish to catch, but usually, they are here in the summer months. I have caught them in January before. I’ve even had great catches of Dolphin in February. But that is not the time of year we normally expect to see them or target them. I’m not complaining, I was glad the boat was able to catch them and so was my customer. It was a nice surprise. They also caught a couple of Snappers on the reef while catching live bait and some Mackerels and bonitos to go with our Dolphin.
