The Weather is Fantastic
the seas were calm and the sun was warm. It’s starting to feel like summer, but that should change on Tuesday as we have a late season cold front headed our way. The offshore fishing on the Atlantic side is tough. Fortunately, the Reef was good, We got into a school of big Cravalle Jacks. The Cravalle isn’t much good to eat, but it’s a lot of fun to catch. They are a big, strong member of the jack family and pull very hard. We also caught some Cero mackerel for dinner. The Cero is the best eating of the mackerel family. Their meat is white and firm. Usually, they are not found much further north than the Florida Keys, so many of our customers are not familiar with them.
