There is nothing better than taking your son out on the water for a Father-Son Fishing trip
I don’t have any children of my own. But whenever I see a father, (or mother) taking their son, (or daughter) fishing. it gives me a good feeling. It builds a lifetime of memories that cannot be recreated in a video game. Whether it is one of my friends or customers,(and after so many years, many of my customers have become friends) being on the water with their children, it always makes me smile. Today we had an old customer of mine and his son. We really just wanted a lot of action to keep the boy “busy” so we went to the reef and we were not disappointed.
The action was pretty good. we caught a bunch of Cero Mackerel and one really big Mutton Snapper. Mutton Snapper is a “shallow Water” cousin of the Red Snapper. In my opinion, it is one of the best eating fish in these waters. It is one of my personal favorites. IF Mutton snapper doesn’t taste good, blame the cook
